A team of young people has developed a new app called CourtDate App , which sends SMS messages to young people to remind them of their upcoming court dates.
The app won an award at this past weekend’s Startup Weekend Oakland 2014.

The contact for the app appears to be Matt Fitzgerald.
A form to sign up to use the app is at http://ift.tt/1jAPZ89
Here is a description, from the sign-up page:
Keeping kids out of jail, one text at a time.
Across the US, young people in contact with the juvenile justice system are missing their court dates – resulting in wasteful and counter-productive jail time. Court Date works with teens and their allies to provide individual SMS reminders that help kids get to court so they can get on with their lives.
